In over 2 years, the trade script I was using had not helped to grow my traffic at all. It was a popular and well known trade script, but it broke from time to time, and its load on my server was extremely high -- it simply did not work very well. In fact, I had seen more aggressive growth my managing my trades by hand.

The Solution: If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself

Being a webmaster since 1995 and professionally since 2001, I have used many of the usual free scripts and previewed many professional-level scripts at the $300 to $600 range.

The idea of coding a traffic script from scratch was a huge undertaking, but it was time for action. The goal was to provide something fresh to the market that would do everything needed for a successful site. It needed to be easy and intuitive, to work the way you do. It needed to be fast and easy on a server and accurate. But most of all, it needed to highlight problems and successes as well as trade traffic effectively to help grow websites and make them more successful.

Development started on "Zero" in December of 2006 and a functional script was running on my server within days. As development progressed, I was contacted by dozens of webmasters, who talked to me about all the problems they were having with other scripts. I had not intended to sell the script to the public, in order to keep the advantages of the script to myself. After hearing all the problems people were having, it was clear that a better solution was needed and that they wanted a script that worked, and support that would be there when they needed it.
